Who we are

We are educators! As a tutoring service, we are run by professional teachers and it is what we know and do best. We bring this skill-set to one-to-one tutoring because we know the power it has to transform a student’s education.

As a tutoring service we have:

  • valid DBSs for teaching
  • a wealth of experience in teaching primary school pupils in all Key Stages
  • experience in preparing students for the end of Key Stage assessments (SATS)
  • many years of success in working with pupils with a range of SEN and barriers to learning

Because we are run by teachers, we can provide professional, effective and relational tutoring to our students. The tutoring service is underpinned by years of experience and classroom practice and all the learning is directly linked to the national curriculum. There is a professionalism and a high-level of practice which is expected in classroom teaching, and this is transferred over into our tutoring service.

My son says that he finds the sessions really fun and it’s good teaching that is easy to understand. He would like me to reiterate how much his confidence has been boosted, particularly in maths

Year 5 Parent

An additional benefit of using our teacher-run service is that all of the learning will be directly linked to the national curriculum, will be underpinned by sound educational research and you (as a parent) will have access to professional advice about how your child is doing in relation to other age-related students. Since teachers know not only their subjects but also the common pitfalls that students find hard and the average rate of progress within the learning, your tutor will be able to effectively guide and encourage your child/student throughout the learning process.

It is very cost effective for 1:1 teaching without having to leave your own home
