Free Parent Workshop: Understanding the Gloucestershire 11+
Many parents begin thinking about the 11+ during Year 4 or early in Year 5, but the process can often feel confusing at first. Questions about how the exam works, what it tests, and how children should prepare are very common.
To help parents understand the system more clearly, I will be running a short online parent workshop explaining the Gloucestershire 11+ and what genuinely helps children prepare well.
This session is designed simply to give parents clear information about the process, so that they can make informed decisions about what is right for their child.
What the session will cover
• how the Gloucestershire 11+ system works
• what the exam actually tests
• the skills that matter most for success
• what tends to help children most (and what doesn’t)
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.
